Credit Monitoring

All consumers have the right to a free annual download of their credit profile from the Bureaus from which they can deduce their own Credit Score. It is important that consumers take good care of their credit rating as one never knows when a good rating will be of real value when most needed.

Killaghy Debt Counsellors will if authorised by the client, be happy to draw down a client’s credit profile for discussion and advice.

It is important that the level of monthly debt repayments not exceed 20% of a client’s gross income. If this level is breached then the client needs to take stock of their financial situation and become aware that the debt ratio is climbing too high and that this needs to be addressed. Killaghy will be happy to assist the client in addressing this situation.
